Grueber compression springs
Compression springs from GRUEBER: Your requirements, our expertise.
GRUEBER develops and manufactures helical compression springs to customer specifications. Unless specified by the customer, we select the material – either wire or bar – with the appropriate dimensions. We define the spring geometry, including coil diameter, number of coils and all parameters relevant to static or dynamic applications. In addition, we offer cold- or hot-formed springs with various spring ends, as well as linear or progressive spring rate characteristics. Coating is applied for corrosion protection and aesthetic purposes in accordance with the customer’s specifications, using wet painting or powder coating, or any special coatings required. On request, we can mark the springs, for example, by stamping them with a company logo, year of manufacture and item number.

Compression springs – function and application
Compression springs are spiral-shaped springs that absorb compressive forces and store energy. They return to their original shape after relief. These springs are found in a variety of industries such as the automotive industry, mechanical engineering and consumer goods where they regulate tension and compression forces.
- Material thickness of GRUEBER compression springs: Wire diameter: 2 to 25 mm
- Rod diameter: 18 to 65 mm
- Cold- or hot-formed springs
- Linear or progressive characteristic curves
